NANS oyo Axis Led by Opakan wrote an Open letter to LAUTECH VC(Prof. M. OLOGUNDE) to do the needful before they call for his Resignation

OPEN LETTER TO THE VICE CHANCELLOR LAUTECHPROFESSOR M.O OLOGUNDE LED ADMINISTRATION; A CLEAR DEFINITION OF ANTI-STUDENTSThe management of the Ladoke Akintola University of technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso,  led by Prof. Olufisayo Ologunde has consistently over time since inception of the administration known for policies which favours only the oppressors, suppressors and intimidation of the truth, right and freedom of the students of this great citadel of learning. In a despicable manner, the vice chancellor ordered the proscription of the Students Union Government, seized the TETFUND Bus donated to the Students which was released to the students by the administration that preceded his, expelled several students without been given a chance for fair hearing. It comes not a surprise, the news making waves on social media about the intimidation, oppression and threat to the studentship of students who participated in the #ENDSARS, but a shocking amazement that on the injury bed of a fellow student who was recuperating from wounds sustained from the hands of the psychopathic men of the Nigeria Police force of the ogbomosho area command, had been issued several threat of losing his studentship, as a way to silence and prevent him from speaking about the crimes perpetuated by the police officers who are still at large. How long my fellow students, shall the students keep up with this unbearable militarize system of the vice-chancellor in governing the University? Surely, the Vice- Chancellor has convincingly shown his incapabilities of running a university like LAUTECH without becoming the next ‘Idi Amin”.In his usual fashion, he has ordered the release of a rejoinder painting the students as ”unscrupulous elements” forgetting that students were the one who clamored for the appointment of an indigenous Vice-Chancellor on which he rode on to ascend the position, and in return what we get is consistent show of gross incompetencies, robbery here and there in students residential areas without any plan of intervention to providing security to live and properties of the students, harassment of students by EFCC and SARS operatives, extortion by police officers and in all there was no response from the management to protect the students community but a complete sellout to the security operatives on how to clamp down on students the more. One would wonder why the management met the Police force and assuring them that there won’t be protest without a press release to inform the public of such decision. The students community request the management of the University to put up a rejoinder distancing itself from the threats and oppression of students who participated in the ENDSARS protest, one would have expected they swift into action after their decision painted LAUTECH student black and stained her reputation. Failure to hear from the management at the end of the day, we will take it that the management is calling for confrontation from the students and we will not hesitate to relocate the NANS SECRETARIAT to LAUTECH and reveal all the corrupt practices perpetrated by the management in due time.Shame on the university management for demeaning the image of our university!!! If there is at all any Integrity left in the vice chancellor, he should do the needful before we call for his resignation.Lautech must Arise again!!God bless Lautech.Signed: Opakunle Oluwafunmibi MayowaNANS JCC CHAIRMAN OYO STATE
