Exactly 3pm on Monday Jan 18,2021. STUDENT UNION CARETAKER COMMITTE  in collaboration with the LAUTECH MANAGEMENT distributed free customised nose cover to about 33,000 Students across all the departments in LAUTECH the Both college of medicine and Main campus were the beneficiaries of this project.Making it official the Dean of students affairs released an official memo on Monday to notify the students about the distribution and collection of the FREE NOSE COVER The memo read thus.The LAUTECH STUDENTS’ UNION EXECUTIVE CARETAKER COMMITTEE with the support of the UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT is giving out NOSE mask to all students of the institution in compliance with the COVID-19 guideline protocols for FREE. This is to inform all students to start going to their various Heads of department to get theirs as the nose masks have been made available for all. Collection starts from 3:00PM  today, Monday, 18th of January, 2021.We are all aware of the second wave of transmission being currently experienced by several nations of the world. Therefore, the need for full compliance with all prescribed preventive measures for controlling the disease cannot be overemphasized. The directive is for all students to make efficient use of the Nose mask as the rule henceforth is No face mask, no entry into the campus. Likewise, keep the nose mask on throughout your stay within the University community.The Nose masks are NOT FOR SALE. Thank you. Dr. A.O. IgeAg. Dean, Student Affairs,Ladoke Akintola University ofTechnology, Ogbomoso, Oyo StateThe Dean of students affairs emphasized the need for all students to use the free nose cover provided by the School all through their stay on campus each day. LAUTECH REPORTER was able to document some pictorial details when the disbursement of the nose cover to all the departments was about to commence on MondayTo facilitate and keen the effect of the protocol of wearing the nose cover as a means to curb the spread of covid-19 in our society, the LAUTECH STUDENT Caretaker committee, led by Mr Olabiyi Olamide Anthony, made some banners and placed it across all gates that enters LAUTECH and e-fliers, to sensitise students on how to use the nose cover on campus and outside.This is a great project achieved by the LAUTECH STUDENT’S leaders and it is  ONE OF ITS KIND in South Western part of Nigeria even ONE OF ITS KIND in Nigeria if not exaggerated.#Stay safe #Mask up lautech#Wear it for me
