I Was Never Angry with Ajimobi’s Widow, We Have Spoken After Incident – Oyo Deputy Governor, Rauf Olaniyan

The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan has revealed that he was never angry with the wife of the immediate past Governor of Oyo state, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi on series of scenarios that eventually occurred on the death of her husband, Late Sen. Abiola Ajimobi.

Engr. Olaniyan who mentioned this during a media chat with newsmen at his residence added that he authoritatively ordered his orderlies and his security men not to touch anybody or fight back when he realized the colouration of things on ground that day.
He added that Good character should be part of everybody’s virtues and one should know how to give respect to anybody.

“She was aggrieved, I understand her condition and I am not angry with her since that day the scenario happened.
“The trait of an ‘Omoluabi’ (Good Character) should be part of you.
“Know the time to give respect to people absolutely & unabsolutely, and mind you everybody deserves respect.
“I don’t expect any form of apologies, none of us prayed to be in her condition, what happened occurred due to the grief.
“We have spoken after the incident and we are very fine now”.
The Deputy Governor further admonished the good people of Oyo state to remain peaceful adding that the best of this government is ongoing.
