COVID-19: Oyo Records 50 New Cases As Death Toll Reaches 93

Oyo State on Thursday recorded 50 new coronavirus cases, according to the latest figures from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The latest figure has brought the total COVID-19 cases in the state to 6,124, while more than 1,800 patients are currently being treated for the novel coronavirus in the state.
According to data on NCDC’s microsite, the COVID-19 death toll in the state has reached 93.

Our discharges today includes 536 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.

The NCDC in its daily update on Friday morning also said that the total number of COVID-19 cases recorded in the country had reached 143,516, following 938 new coronavirus infections.
